Established in 2004, Cybersecurity Awareness Month, held each October, is the world’s leading initiative dedicated to promoting cybersecurity awareness and best practices.   2. Enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) on personal devices and business networks.
  3. Recognize and report phishing, still one of the most common techniques used by cybercriminals.
  4. Install updates regularly and enable automatic updates to keep software up to date.
